Celebrity Airport Style for Less: Kristin Cavallari
Layer a neutral, chunky knit over black leggings for a sophisticated travel look—and a great bag never hurts.
If you know me, I’m very on the fence when it comes to leggings. I’m a believer that if you’re going to wear them for something other than athletic pursuits, you should wear a longer top with them. In this case, I picked out a mixed media tunic that will make leggings look just a bit more chic.
The other pieces that elevate this look from yoga class to first class are the black leather ankle boots and the quilted tote. Even if you don’t have a Chanel budget, having a bag with this upscale feel as your carryon over say, a reusable grocery tote bag, will make you look and feel more put together, while still having space for your eye mask, book, and headphones.
Choosing a black leather ankle boot over a sneaker puts a real polish on an otherwise casual outfit. Choosing a lower Western heels will still be comfortable and will actually be easier to slip on an off at security than a lace up sneaker.
